Conference Coordinator & Building Manager - Greek Assembly Hall - 525259
The Conference Coordinators and Building Managers works alongside the Greek Assembly Graduate Assistants to ensure that events are set up and ready to meet client’s expectations. Sets up and takes down tables and chairs based off the daily event sheet/calendar. Places tablecloths on tables. Provides customer service to students, clients, and visitors at the Greek Assembly Hall information desk. Answers questions via telephone and in person. Collects, logs, and stores lost and found items properly in the office. Maintains cleanliness and upholds standards. Communicates with housekeeping, building managers, and professional staff. Learns Greek Assembly Hall policies, procedures, and operations of the facility. Learns Greek Assembly Hall rules and job expectations. Knowledge of the different room orientations and equipment available. Learns basic emergency procedures. Maintains proper appearance and attire to represent the Greek Assembly Hall. Remains engaged in the guest traffic and refrains from wearing earbuds/headphones to distract from assisting guests. Maintains composure and professionalism. Additional duties as assigned.
Photography Assistant - UREC Administration - 525214
The UREC Photography Assistant takes photographs and videos as assigned for the UREC’s website, social media, and other publications. Produces an acceptable quantity and variety of photographs of assigned subject(s). Completes assignments by the deadline. Uploads photos to a shared server/file location to which marketing staff has access. Meets regularly with marketing staff to review upcoming events, required photos, assignments, and communications strategies where photos will be used. Assists marketing staff with social media plans. Additional duties as assigned.

The Conference Coordinator handles all functioning and operations of the Intercultural Center including serving as the Center’s Welcome Desk receptionist during the daytime and evening hours of operations. Reports directly to the Graduate Student Assistant and Intercultural Center Administrator.

Broadcast Engineering Assistant - Ctr for Public Television and Radio - 525123
The Broadcast Engineering Assistant assists the Broadcast Engineering and Tech Services team with tracing and documenting audio, video, and broadcast network cable/wiring connections throughout the Digital Media Center. Creates documentation for the broadcast and production facilities. Takes pictures of equipment in Central Equipment Room (CER) racks and uses a spreadsheet to write down input/output connections. Traces each cable to its destination or source. Enters information into a program that will aid the Director of Engineering & Technical Services in creating CAD drawings. The Broadcast Engineering Assistant works in the Central Equipment Room (CER). The CER is kept to a temperature between 66 to 68 degrees, so a hoodie or jacket is recommended.
Tutor - Applied Tutoring - 525110
1-on-1 in-person on campus (or rarely via Zoom), and possibly small group tutoring on campus in UA facilities or sorority/fraternity houses.
