The Alabama REACH Graduate Assistant assists with the collection, organization, tracking, and analysis of program and student success data to support assessment, reporting, and strategic initiatives. This position supports the development of reports, presentations, communication materials, and outcome summaries for internal and external stakeholders while assisting with research related to student success, trauma-informed care, retention initiatives, and underserved student populations.
Student Research Assistant - Alabama Transportation Institute - 529458
About the Project We are conducting a state-of-the-practice review of driver education requirements across the U.S., with a focus on identifying gaps in Alabama's learner's permit materials and driving test content. The project examines how states address newer or complex roadway features — such as roundabouts, diverging diamond interchanges (DDIs), flashing yellow arrows (FYA), and updated signage — in their driver training programs.
Research Computing Student Assistant - Summer 2026 - University Libraries - 529353
The University Libraries Research Computing Student Assistant will develop scripts, documentation, tutorials, and assist with teaching workshops such as programmatic retrieval of scholarly information, data manipulation, data visualization, high performance computing, and AI/machine learning. The Student Assistant will also assist with HPC instruction.

Systems Student Assistant - Summer 2026 - BCAS Computer Labs - 529061
This position also assists with the Academic Continuity Initiative, which provides eligible Barefield College of Arts and Sciences Faculty and Staff with an iPad. This position assists with helping setup and support these devices via email, phone, video conferencing, and in person appointments. This position provides applicants with the opportunity to learn remote management tools such as PDQ Deploy, PDQ Inventory, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), JAMF, Apple School Manager, and Global Service Exchange (GSX) for managing Windows and Apple devices.
Marketing Student Assistant - Summer 2026 - Dining Services - 529050
The Marketing Student Assistant for Dining Services supports dining membership tabling events and campus activities to promote, educate, and sell meal plans. Maintains a strong understanding of meal plan structures, their monetary value, and the overall benefits of dining on campus in order to effectively communicate with customers. Distributes marketing materials and promotional items while presenting information and answering questions about dining services. Collaborates as part of a sales team to host events during key periods such as orientation and move-in weekend, and support additional marketing initiatives throughout critical times in the summer semester.
Graduate Student Assistant - Student Financial Aid and Scholarships - 529033
The Graduate Student Assistant for Student Employment Services (SES) provides administrative and customer service support to students, parents, and employers regarding on- and off-campus employment opportunities. This position serves as a front-line resource by responding to inquiries through email, telephone, and in-person interactions. The Graduate Student Assistant also supports SES staff with departmental initiatives, outreach efforts, and special projects that promote student employment.
Student Assistant Teacher - The Children's Program - CDRC - 528973
The Student Assistant Teacher works with the classroom teaching team. Provides a safe and nurturing environment for children ages 2 months to 5 years of age. Works closely with the lead classroom teacher in planning for, and managing, a classroom of children. Assumes the lead role with the children when the lead teacher is working with students, parents, administrators and/or faculty. Monitors and documents activities for the practicum students. Supervises the interns and substitute teachers. Models developmentally appropriate practices for the students observing and participating in the classroom. Student Caller - Summer 2026 - National Alumni Association - 528912
The Student Caller calls and speaks with alumni, parents and friends of the institution to raise funds for the National ALumni Associations and the Univeristy of Albama.

The Content Tutor for the Bill Battle Academic Center tutors/teaches course content. Guides students in meeting academic deadlines. Assists in the development of general study, planning, and time-management skills. Reviews, discusses, and explains course material in a clear, effective, and creative manner. Conducts test review sessions. Assists entering freshmen, continuing, and international students.
